  2. Of course I do like your figures, magnificent as ever. I also like your way of painting figures, I have studied it several times.
    Painting the carriages of the guns provided by the French in red is a good idea to differentiate without having to have a close look at the barrel. Of course it is not historically correct, French carriages at that time being painted blue. By the way, the term "red artillery" does not refer to the colour of the carriages but to the waistcoats and breeches of the artillerymen, as far as I know. (I have tried to gather some information on the French artillery in recent years.)
